Clinical Experience

I am a Licensed Clinical Psychologist who specializes in providing evidence-based assessment and psychotherapy to children, adolescents, and young adults with complex medical needs and who experience mental health concerns (e.g., anxiety, depression, trauma, sleep difficulties) and/or neurodevelopmental conditions (e.g., ADHD, learning difficulties, executive function deficits, social skills deficits). Evidence-based practice means that these assessments and interventions are based on scientific evidence and are proven to work.

In my approach to treatment, I also place a strong emphasis on cultural, developmental, and systemic factors such as family, school, and hospital systems, that have an impact on children's experience of illness and their prognosis. I am an advocate for interdisciplinary care and work closely with other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality care to youth and their families.
